So, many years ago as I traveled Europe for the very first time I decided not to throw anything away that I collected...brochures, subway tickets, maps or receipts. When I got home they all became part of a collage of different areas I visited. A very simple ink-wash drawing was added to define the places I had been and I am pretty happy looking at them hanging around my home. I am returning to Italy soon, so I might be creating a few more of these in the future.
